On Wednesday, June 25, 2025, the Rehabilitation, Employment, and Follow-up Unit at the College of Law at the University of Mosul conducted a field visit to the Nineveh Court of Appeal. The visit included attending public sessions of the Mosul Criminal Court and attending exceptional public trials for terrorism cases. The visit also included an introduction to the court’s departments and affiliated administrations. The visit also included a meeting with Dr. Ahmed Al-Harithi, Vice President of the Nineveh Court of Appeal, who gave an introductory lecture to the students on the importance of integrating students into the job market. He explained the role of practical training for students and its role in developing student skills. He also highlighted the importance of practical training and preparing students to practice law after graduating from college, with reference to the application process for the Judicial Institute. Several topics related to judicial affairs were also addressed.
