The College of Law at the University of Mosul Holds a Scientific Workshop on Digital Rights within the Framework of International Law

The Public Law Branch (Sustainable Development Committee), in cooperation with the Continuing Education Unit at the College of Law, held a scientific workshop titled: “Digital Rights and Their Challenges in Light of the Rules of Public International Law” , on the morning of Sunday, April 26, 2026, in Dr. Layla Abdullah Hall.
This workshop is part of scientific activities aimed at achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly goals (4, 9, 16, and 17). Its themes addressed the importance of keeping pace with rapid digital transformations and the role of international law in regulating and protecting digital rights in cyberspace.
The workshop featured the presentation of several research papers discussing contemporary issues, including mechanisms for the international protection of digital rights, digital privacy, as well as legal challenges related to armed conflicts and technological developments, thereby enhancing legal awareness among students and researchers.
