The Deanship of the College of Law at the University of Mosul announces the opening of applications for students wishing to represent the College and the University in the “Jessup” International Law Moot Court Competition for 2027, the final rounds of which will be held in Toronto, Canada.

This competition is the largest and most prestigious of its kind worldwide in the field of international law. Our College’s participation comes as part of our commitment to enhancing our students’ legal and linguistic skills on international platforms.

⚖️ Application Requirements:

1. The applicant must be a student of the College of Law (undergraduate or postgraduate).

2. Full proficiency in English (spoken and written), as all stages of the competition, including the writing of legal memoranda and oral pleadings, will be conducted exclusively in English.

3. A serious interest in legal research, the ability to work as part of a team, and a commitment to the training schedule.

📝 Selection Mechanism:

All applicants will undergo an evaluative test (oral and written) conducted by a specialized committee at the College to select the final team that will represent the University.
