Training and Development Course

The College of Law – University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education at the University of Mosul, organized a professional development course entitled “Developing Legal Skills for Employees”, which lasted for two weeks, with the participation of a distinguished group of the College’s faculty members.

The course was lectured by:

  1. Dr. Ahmed Fares Idris – Human Rights Law Branch.

  2. Dr. Ali Obaid – Private Law Branch.

The course addressed a number of important legal and administrative themes, most notably:

  1. The duties of legal professionals in state institutions and the means of practicing legal work.

  2. The formation of investigative committees, their working mechanisms, and their legal procedures.

  3. Administrative and financial corruption, its types, causes, and the legal means to limit and combat it.

The course concluded after achieving its scientific and practical objectives, as it contributed to enhancing the legal knowledge of the participants and developing their skills in performing legal and administrative tasks in line with the requirements of institutional work and the rule of law.
