Professor Dr. Qabas Hassan Awad, a faculty member at the College of Law, Public Law Branch, chaired the discussion committee for the doctoral dissertation titled “Diversifying Sources of Public Revenues and Their Impact on Sustainable Development / Iraq as a Model” , presented by the researcher Ammar Salih Musa Al-Saba’, at the College of Law and Political Science at the University of Kirkuk, on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, with the participation of a distinguished group of public law professors from Iraqi universities.

The discussion featured an extensive scientific dialogue on the topic of the dissertation and the issues it addressed concerning the diversification of public revenue sources and their role in achieving the goals of sustainable development in Iraq, as well as a discussion of the findings, conclusions, and recommendations reached by the researcher.

This participation comes within the framework of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
