Rector of University of Mosul’s Speech of the Start of the New Academic Year

To the dear personnel of University of Mosul, academicians, employees and students… receiving the new academic year, I have but to wholeheartedly wish you success and excellence in your educational march, adding more science and knowledge to your own by virtue of your generous professors, advancing a year after a year.I strongly recommend working hard and persistence for success; keeping on strong hold of the code of moralities and deportments fit for university students in dealing with their colleagues and professors. Also, I advise the respectable professors to build trust and suitable ties with their students as the same as they have to do their best in teaching their students, making use of the latest methodology in the best way that serves maintain the scientific level and seriousness of University of Mosul. The same is applicable to the employees of our university. In whatever level of charge, I demand that they do their best in dealing with their clients, assisting them to get what need according to the rules and regulations. From our dear students, who represent the multiculturality and richness of our society, whom I deem heralds of knowledge, love and peace, I request committing themselves to the instructions, which show the extent of their awareness and refinement. Know that these university years are the most viable for you and will always be memorable especially that they precede undertaking lifelong responsibilities towards yourselves, families and society. Likewise, being students in University of Mosul, it is your responsibility to work on elevating the stature of the university high through your research quality and study excellence. We, the management of the university, are committed to preparing you to be the leaders of the future, serving your country, in any place and level of charge. Last but not least, in your potential, I believe, and -Allah wills- you are up to it.
