After the rehabilitation, Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamaladdin Al-Ahmedy, Rector of University of Mosul opens the Fine Art Museum at the campus on Thursday, October 17 2019. This museum is one of the most important museums in Mosul because it contains the most deeply-rooted fine art legacy of the personages of Mosul. The ceremony was attended by the coordinator of the UNDP in the University, Chief of the Construction and Projects, Chief of the Students’ Affairs Center and a number of deans of the colleges. They made a tour in the first show held by the Arts Activities Division of the Students Activities Section and expressed admiration of the paintings and of the organization of the event.
