Rector Al-Ahmedy opens the Sports Hall of the second complex of University of Mosul on Monday, December 9 2019. The Hall, which is part of College of Essential Education, opens again after rehabilitation with the addition of two external sporting fields with high technical specifications. The ceremony was attended by the Rector Deputies, Dean of College of Essential Education, the UNDP supervisor, Director of the Reconstruction and Projects Division and a number of civil and sports figures. The event included speeches by the officials, some sports activities and delivering letters of appreciation to those in charge of accomplishing the project. Noteworthy is that the Hall was destructed by the terrorist gangs of Daesh during their control of Mosul.
