Under auspices of Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamaladdin Al-Ahmedy, Rector of University of Mosul, Dams and Water Resources Researches Center, in cooperation with Sika Company/ Iraq, holds a workshop titled (Solutions for Dams Construction Problems by Sika Company), at the Center on December 16 2019. The workshop was attended by Dr. Zakaria Yahya Al-Jamal, Rector Deputy for Scientific Affairs, a number of the teachers of College of Engineering, the Engineering Consults Bureau, Chief of the Syndicate of Engineers as well as the staff of the organizing Center. The workshop proceedings included an introduction to the company, a show of the materials used in the treatment of cleavages in the dams and the water reservoirs and a show of the works accomplished by the company in the field. This comes in the line of the University’s commitment to take effective role in finding solutions for the urgent problems serving and maintaining the city and people of Mosul.
