Curtain Drawn On Third International Workshop
The Third International Workshop between University of Mosul and the German University of Martin Luther Halle, in cooperation with DAAD, was concluded in ceremonies held at the Hall of College of Nursing on Wednesday, December 18 2019. The workshop was titled (The Psychological Rehabilitation of Children of Mosul Using Physical Education Programs), and extended from 15 till 20 December 2019. The event was attended, on behalf of Rector Al-Ahmedy, by Dr. Yahya Zakaria Al-Jamal, Rector Deputy for Scientific Affairs, leaders of the program, Prof. Dr. Oliver Stol, Prof. Dr. Stefan Skwarticz and Dr. Amr Mohammed Rushdi, a number of specialist professors and other interested people. The attendance stood for a minute in memory of the departed Prof. Dr. Dhiyaa Majid Al-Talib. In the two sessions of the event lectures were delivered, amongst which a lecture by Prof. Stol and Dr. Al-Talib on the modern technologies in the field of applied physical psychology, and another lecture by Dr. Stefan Fatzke on the approaches of health care for children suffering mental diseases. At the end of the event, the shield of the workshop and a letter of appreciation were given Rector Al-Ahmedy by representatives of the German university, and in turn, letters of appreciation and other symbolic presents were given the German leaders of the program.
