Mosul Families Council Delegates At Campus
On January 5 2020, delegates of Mosul Families Council paid a visit to University of Mosul. Rector Qusay Al-Ahmedy, who received the delegates, emphasized maintaining the strong ties between the University and the communities of Mosul because the University is a constituent part of the character of Mosul. He added that the University is adopting openness policy to the people of Mosul, which can be seen in the services it presents, educational, social, civil, engineering, medical and others. Not only Mosul, but all Iraqi provinces are included in this for the University hosts students from all over Iraq. Later, Rector Al-Ahmedy briefed the guests on the amount of ruin and devastation the University experienced, urging all to collective cooperation to restore it to its earlier state, and to develop it as much as possible. In his turn, Mr. Qutaibah Mohammed Agha, chief of the Council announced that everybody in Mosul is in support of and ready to cooperate in order to see an advanced University that makes all proud as to its local and international reputation and to the quality of educated alumni.
