Prof. Al-Ahmedy opened the 11th Artistic Festival of Department of Artistic Education, College of Fine Arts, today December 26, 2020. Attending to the opening were Dean of the college, Head of the department, a number of academicians and plethora of children of Mosul. The event, which extends two days, included the opening of the plastic art show where hand works and plastic paintings were presented. Also, dramatic performances were acted by the students. Worth mentioning is that all items were designed for children.The first day plays were Gifts of Christmas, Our Rights and Reward of Being Fidel, whereas the second day plays are Colours of Nature, The Rabbit and Winter and Behaving When Having One’s Food. Prof. Al-Ahmedy appreciated the efforts exerted in the line of producing the event and expressed his admiration of the students’ abilities and emphasized supporting them toward developing their potentials.
