Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, the Student Activities Department held the Ramadan competition for memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran for the period from13 to 19 March 2025. The tests were attended by Prof. Dr. Taha Hammad Makhlaf, Dean of the College of Islamic Sciences, Prof. Abdul Malik Suleiman, Director of the Student Activities Department, and Prof. Mohammed Ismail Mohammed, Head of the Arabic Language Department at the College of Education for Girls.

Students from different colleges of the university participated in it.

The tests for the male students were held at the College of Islamic Sciences, while the tests for the female students were held at the College of Education for Girls.

The competition aims to discover, nurture and promote the talents of university students in the field of memorizing and reciting the Holy Quran.

It is noteworthy that the winners will be honored on April 8, 2025 in the hall of the Scientific and Literary Forum.
