The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed a Master’s thesis on the “trilemma” and its impact on economic growth.

The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed on Monday, March 30, 2026, Master’s thesis on the “trilemma” and its impact on economic growth.The Master’s Thesis held in Discussion Hall No. (2), entitled:
“The Problem of the Trilemma (Inflation, Unemployment, and Corruption) and Its Impact on Economic Growth in Selected Countries”
by the student Mohammed Hamed Asaad Kanaan Al-Nuaimi.
The study aimed to analyze the relationship between inflation, unemployment, and corruption, and to examine their impact on economic growth in selected countries, relying on econometric analysis methods.
The key findings of the study include:
There is a significant effect of the trilemma variables on economic growth.
Higher rates of inflation, unemployment, and corruption negatively affect growth rates in the countries under study.
