College of Administration and Economics – University of Mosul Holds Its Nineteenth Council Meeting, Confirms Readiness for Final Examinations and Promotes High-Quality Scientific Publishing

As part of its ongoing efforts to consolidate quality standards and enhance academic and administrative performance, the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul held its nineteenth regular council meeting for the academic year 2025–2026 on Monday, April 27, 2026, at the College Deanship headquarters. The meeting was chaired by Prof. Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, Dean of the College, and attended by the Assistant Deans, Heads of Academic Departments, and several officials from relevant administrative units.
During the meeting, the council addressed a number of key academic and organizational issues reflecting the College’s orientation toward integrated institutional performance. Foremost among these was the completion of preparations for final examinations for both undergraduate and postgraduate studies, ensuring a smooth examination process in accordance with precise regulations and well-established procedures that promote a fair and well-organized testing environment.
The council also discussed ways to enhance the scientific output of faculty members by supporting publication in reputable international journals and databases. Emphasis was placed on the importance of carefully verifying the selection of globally recognized journals, in alignment with the College’s academic specializations, to maintain the quality and credibility of scholarly production.
At the conclusion of the session, the minutes of the academic departments were reviewed and discussed in detail, within a framework that reinforces transparency, institutional integration, and sustainable strategic planning—thereby strengthening the College’s position within the University of Mosul and advancing its academic and administrative performance.
