The Department of Accounting at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, a scientific workshop entitled:

“Cost Management Techniques and Artificial Intelligence”

The workshop took place at 1:00 PM in Laboratory No. (1) of the department.

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Intisar Saber and Assistant Professor Nada Abdulrazzaq. It addressed the most prominent cost management techniques and their role in achieving competitive advantage, in addition to reviewing cost management approaches in light of artificial intelligence applications, by linking modern theoretical and practical aspects.

The workshop was attended by a number of the department’s faculty members and included scientific discussions focusing on the importance of employing artificial intelligence technologies in developing accounting systems and improving the efficiency of cost management within organizations.

This workshop comes as part of the efforts of the College of Administration and Economics / University of Mosul to keep pace with modern scientific and technological developments and to enhance academic knowledge in the fields of accounting and smart financial management.
