The Industrial Management Department at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed on Sunday, November 1, 2026, the Higher Diploma research titled “The Feasibility of Applying Green Engineering Principles at Ain Zalah Oil Field Authority,” presented by student Zahraa Khader Aziz Al-Jarjari, in Discussion Hall No. (1).

​The study aimed to evaluate the extent to which the requirements for applying the twelve principles of green engineering are present within the industrial operations and activities of the examined facility. Additionally, it aimed to provide proposals that contribute to fostering the adoption of these principles and enhancing the efficiency of production processes, thereby supporting environmental and economic sustainability.

​The study reached several conclusions, most notably that statistical analysis results showed a high level of agreement among sample respondents regarding the application of green engineering principles, indicating a suitable environment for their adoption. The results also revealed the facility’s interest in the various green engineering principles, as all principles recorded arithmetic means higher than the hypothetical mean, reflecting an awareness of their importance in enhancing industrial performance and advancing sustainability.
