Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jameel, with the follow-up of the Head of the Department of Industrial Management, Assistant Professor Dr. Ragheed Ibrahim Ismail, the Department organized a scientific workshop on Sunday, April 19, 2026, entitled:

“Leveraging Software Applications to Improve Service Quality”

The workshop was held in Hall No. (2).

The event featured several key scientific themes presented by a group of the department’s faculty members, as follows:

The integrative relationship between software information systems and improving the quality of industrial services

The role of lean management applications in reducing waste and improving response time

– Assistant Lecturer Bilal Tawfiq Younis and Assistant Professor Dr. Manal Al-Sammak

Leveraging software applications to enhance service quality

– Lecturer Saif Mohammed Diaa Al-Ashqar, Assistant Lecturer Hadeel Ahmed Khalaf Al-Dulaimi, and Lecturer Iman Ali Ahmed

The workshop aimed to empower participants to effectively utilize modern software tools and applications as a key driver for improving service efficiency, enhancing quality levels, achieving beneficiary satisfaction, and supporting institutional digital transformation.

The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members and students of the department. It included engaging scientific discussions and constructive dialogue, reflecting the participants’ strong interest in the topics presented. The event concluded with a set of recommendations aimed at improving service performance and increasing operational efficiency.

This workshop comes as part of the ongoing efforts of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul to support modern trends in digital transformation and improve service quality across various sectors.
