The Department of Accounting at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, organized on Sunday, May 3, 2026, a scientific workshop entitled:

“Guidelines for the Implementation of Contracts and Procurement”,

held at 1:00 PM in Laboratory No. (1) at the department.

The workshop was delivered by Assistant Professor Dr. Kubra Mohammed Taher, who addressed several key topics, including types of contracts and their conditions, mechanisms for implementing trust (custodial) contracts and direct contracts, as well as an overview of the main contracting methods adopted in accordance with administrative and regulatory procedures.

The workshop was attended by a number of faculty members from the department and featured engaging scientific discussions focusing on the practical and procedural aspects of contract implementation, contributing to enhancing legal and administrative awareness in this field.

This workshop comes as part of the ongoing efforts of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Mosul to support specialized academic activities and to strengthen applied knowledge in modern administrative and accounting fields.
