The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, organized a scientific workshop on Monday, May 18, 2026, entitled:

“Green Industries: Knowledge Foundations and Challenges.” The event took place at the Management Information Systems Department Hall No. 2 at 12:30 PM.

​The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Abdulaziz Bashar Haseeb, who addressed the concept of green industries as one of the modern industrial trends aimed at achieving a balance between economic development and environmental preservation. It highlighted the most prominent challenges facing the implementation of this type of industry in contemporary production environments.

​The workshop aimed to enable participants to learn about modern concepts associated with green industries and to enhance awareness of the importance of shifting toward sustainable production patterns that support environmental and economic development requirements.

​The workshop was attended by several faculty members, researchers, and students, and featured scientific discussions that emphasized the importance of adopting concepts of sustainability and clean industry in modern production institutions.
