The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, Discusses High Diploma Research on the Economic Feasibility Study for Constructing a Commercial Mall in Mosul

The Department of Economics at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed on Thursday, August 27, 2026, the high diploma research entitled “Economic Feasibility Study for Constructing a Commercial Mall Project in Mosul City / Gogjali Area,” presented by student Foad Abdulkarim Ali Ahmed Al-Juraysi, in the Department of Economics Discussion Hall.
The study aimed to provide a theoretical and practical foundation for the concept of economic feasibility studies, clarifying its main stages and criteria, thereby contributing to the evaluation of investment project feasibility and rational economic decision-making.
The results of the study revealed that the project possesses legal feasibility due to its compliance with the provisions of the State Property Sale and Rent Law No. (21) of 2013 as amended. The results also proved its economic feasibility under normal conditions, according to economic feasibility study criteria, reflecting the viability of implementing the project and achieving worthwhile economic returns.
