The Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed on Thursday, September 3, 2026, a master’s thesis entitled “The Role of Supply Chain Leadership Activities in Enhancing Logistics Performance: An Analytical Study in the Petroleum Products Distribution Company/Nineveh,” submitted by the student Omar Mohammed Riyadh Abdul Wahab Al-Karaghouli, in the Economics Department Hall.

​The study aimed to identify the nature of the relationship between supply chain leadership and logistics performance, as well as to measure the impact of supply chain leadership activities on enhancing logistics performance and its dimensions within the investigated company.

​The study arrived at a set of conclusions, most notably the existence of a statistically significant positive correlation between supply chain leadership and logistics performance, with a correlation coefficient of (0.93). Additionally, there was a significant impact of supply chain leadership on logistics performance and its dimensions, achieving the highest impact on efficiency with a coefficient of determination of 87%, followed by effectiveness at 81%, and then differentiation at 74%. This confirms the importance of adopting effective leadership practices in supply chains to enhance logistics performance efficiency and achieve organizational excellence.
