The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed a master’s thesis entitled “Social Innovation as an Approach to Achieving Strategic Sustainability: A Proposed Program for Retiree Care,” presented by student Masarra Amer Hameed Al-Taie, on Monday, September 7, 2026, in the Business Administration Department Hall.

​The study aimed to achieve social innovation goals within civil society organizations by enhancing long-term strategic sustainability, as well as providing a proposed program dedicated to retiree care to help improve the quality of services provided to them and reinforce their social role.

​The study reached several conclusions, most notably that promoting social innovations contributes to improving the well-being of beneficiaries and increases the chances of achieving strategic sustainability, underscoring the importance of civil society organizations adopting innovative programs and initiatives that address the needs of retirees and support the sustainability of their services.
