The Department of Business Administration at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, discussed on Tuesday, September 8, 2026, a Master’s thesis titled “The Role of Participatory Leadership in Implementing Sustainable Project Management,” presented by student Ahmed Amer Abdullah in Discussion Hall No. (2).

​The study aimed to examine how participatory leadership drives the implementation of sustainable project management, highlighting how this leadership approach helps enhance project sustainability and achieve development goals with higher efficiency and effectiveness.

​The thesis arrived at several key conclusions, most notably a statistically significant positive correlation between participatory leadership and the implementation of sustainable project management at both macro and micro levels. Results also revealed that the information-sharing dimension had the highest impact on applying sustainable project management, underlining the need to foster collaborative, knowledge-sharing leadership practices to support overall project sustainability.
