Our Alumni Well-Trained For Jobs
University of Mosul’s commitment towards its alumni is not restricted to the theoretical aspect, but relates strongly to the actual practice. The University seeks always to translate this commitment through workshops and other events in which the students are given the chance to work in the field and acquire the work milieu experiences, which makes them highly qualified for jobs. Thus, on Tuesday December 28, 2020, in auspices and presence of Prof. Al-Ahmedy, College of Agriculture and Forestry holds a training course for improving the skills of applicants, who wish to work in the project of ‘Greenhouses.’ The event, which is held in cooperation with the Division of Habilitation, Employment and Follow-up of University of Mosul, and Human Appeal Foundation, and is funded by the World Food Program (WFP), specified one third of its time for the field work. The opening lecture delivered by Dr. Husein Jawad Muharram Al-Bayati, titled (Producing Vegetables Under Protected Conditions), focused on the importance of ‘protected agriculture’ as it sustains the agricultural production for bettering people’s lives. Noteworthy is that the event goes for three days.
