Course In French Conversation Launched
Under the auspices of Rector Kossay Al-Ahmady, and in the presence of Rector Assistant for Scientific Affairs, Prof. Dr. Munir Salim Taha, and Mr. Jean-Nöel Baleo, Director of Cultural Cooperation and Activities Office of the Embassy of the Republic of France in Iraq, University of Mosul, represented by Department of French Language, and the Francophony Corner of the University, in cooperation with the French-Iraqi Cultural Institute at Mosul, held a three-week conversation course.The course, to which around 300 participants registered of varying fields of specialty from inside and outside of Iraq, includes lectures focusing on the bases of conversation in French for the A1.1 and A2.1 levels. It aims to maintain the communication with the learners of French, to improve their skills and proficiency so that they can join higher-level courses in the future, and to qualify them, eventually to undergo the DELF international tests.
