Ambassador Of France Delivers A Letter From President Macron To Rector Of University Of Mosul
During his visit to University of Mosul, M. Eric Chevalier, ambassador of France to Iraq, delivered a letter from president Emmanuel Macron to Rector Kossay Alahmady, in which he expresses his apologies for not having the chance to visit the University during his last visit to Mosul due to his schedule.Ambassador Chevalier visited the University on September 27th, accompanied by director of the Agence Française pour Développement, AFD, M. Fréderik Tourlain, utility studies expert, M. François Dubaquier of the AFD, director of France Expertise, M. Fabrese Bosalime, and other delegates.Rector Kossay Alahmady welcomed the delegation and reiterated the University’s interest in strengthening ties with the French partners through fulfilling joint projects and appreciated the efforts exerted by France Expertise providing funds and other kinds of support to the University. In his turn, Ambassador Chevalier emphasized France’s will to carry on communication and cooperation with University of Mosul through the training courses and the other projects covered by the Embassy to support the University and the youth.
