The President of the University, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, accompanied by members of the University Council, visited the High Commission for Human Rights on Wednesday morning, 22/1/2025.

They were welcomed by Mr. Yasser Dhiaa Saeed, Director of the Nineveh office of the Commission, who gave a detailed explanation of the work of the Commission, its tasks, and its efforts in supporting human rights.

For his part, Mr. President of the University praised the efforts made by the Commission, and emphasized the wide interest in the file of human rights through the academic and scientific expertise provided by the University in this regard, and employing all capabilities in order to promote human rights and address the negative effects of terrorism on the province.
