The Deanship of the College of Medicine Holds a Meeting with the Media Coordinators of Various Departments

The Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof Dr Basil Mohammednather Saeed, chaired a meeting with the media coordinators of various departments on Wednesday, 10th November 2021. The meeting was attended by the Director of the Media and Public Relations Division and the Website Unit, Senior Chief Engineer Hasan Y. Abdullah and the Lecturer Dr Nida S. Omar.

The meeting was opened by the dean of the college where he directed the coordinators to give the media great importance through full cooperation with the division because it represents the front of the college. He was also pointed out that the college is about to develop an official website in French along with Arabic and English.

After that, the director of the division presented a summary of the current reality of the college’s media which consisted of three items. The first item directs the departments to complete their biography (Arabic and English). The second item is the media work as a whole includes holding the seminars as a model. The third item is the mechanism of publishing lectures on the website. The dean listened to the proposals and interpositions of the coordinators leading to an integrated professional work that would benefit the college and the university alike.
