Dean of the College of Pharmacy Meets with Student Representatives of On-Campus Housing to Discuss Service Challenges and Enhance the University Environment
In alignment with the College of Pharmacy’s commitment to fostering direct communication and active partnership with its students, Professor Dr. Yasser Fakhri Mustafa, Dean of the College of Pharmacy—accompanied by the Associate Dean for Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohanad Imad Al-Qazzaz—convened a meeting on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, with representatives of female pharmacy students residing in the university dormitories. The meeting aimed to assess the primary service and organizational challenges firsthand and to explore effective solutions to improve the quality of residential and administrative services.
During the session, several issues pertaining to the service and administrative aspects of the dormitories were discussed. The College Administration listened attentively to the observations and proposals presented by the student representatives, emphasizing its dedication to providing an optimal residential and academic environment that supports academic stability and enhances the overall quality of campus life.
The meeting concluded with an agreement to resolve several issues within the College’s administrative jurisdiction with immediate effect. Furthermore, the Administration pledged to coordinate with the relevant university authorities regarding matters outside its direct mandate, ensuring they are addressed within the established legal and administrative frameworks.
The Dean’s Office reaffirmed its continued adherence to the principles of transparency and constructive engagement with the student body. This approach aims to overcome obstacles and elevate the standard of services provided, consistent with the University’s vision of fostering a comprehensive, secure, and stimulating educational environment conducive to creativity and excellence.
