The closing ceremony of the chemical and biological laboratory safety courseThe department of Pharmacognosy has completed the activities of the final day of the chemical and biological laboratory safety course, which was held under the generous patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, and the support of the dean of the college of pharmacy Assistant prof. Dr. Zina Abdulmunim AbdulmajeedThe course started with a lecture by Dr. Nagham Muhammad Zaki on how to deal with chemical spills and ways to manage such hazards, followed by the last lecture given by Dr. Khadija Younus Abed, which dealt with the correct storage standards for chemicals. This has ended by opening of discussions and questions, and then an evaluation test for the participants in the course followed by reading the recommendations and the outcomes of the course by Dr. Jahan Abdel-Wahab, head of the Pharmacognosy department.
