Joint Meeting Between the Scientific Committee and the Postgraduate Studies Committee at the College of Pharmacy, University of Mosul

Under the supervision of Professor Dr. Yasser Fakhri Mustafa, Dean of the College of Pharmacy, a joint meeting was held on Thursday, June 19, 2025, between the Scientific Committee and the Postgraduate Studies Committee at the College of Pharmacy.

The meeting aimed to establish a mechanism and timeline for distributing research projects to postgraduate (Master’s in Pharmacy) students following the completion of their coursework for the academic year 2024–2025.

The meeting addressed the following key points:

• Setting approved criteria for the fair and specialized distribution of research projects.

• Discussing the mechanism for selecting supervisors and assigning them to students based on competence and specialization.

• Adopting a clear timeline for proposal submission and project initiation.

• Reviewing past challenges and working to overcome potential obstacles in the upcoming stage.

The committee members expressed positive cooperation, and a number of recommendations were agreed upon, which will be communicated to students and faculty members in the near future.
