Master’s Thesis Defense – College of Pharmacy
On Tuesday, September 9, 2025, in Ibn al-Baytar Hall at the College of Pharmacy, student Shahd Fadel Azzedine Nitham successfully defended her Master’s thesis entitled:
“The Potential Protective Effect of Coenzyme Q10 Against Acetaminophen-Induced Hepatorenal Toxicity in Experimental Rats.”
The study evaluated the protective role of Coenzyme Q10 on liver and kidney toxicity caused by high doses of acetaminophen through biochemical, oxidative stress, and histological assessments.
The defense was attended by Prof. Yasser Fakhri Mustafa, Dean of the College, along with faculty members and postgraduate students.
The examining committee consisted of:

The thesis was approved with minor revisions.
