Ministerial Committees Visit the College of Pharmacy to Assess Readiness for Launching New Master’s Programs
Assessment Focuses on Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Clinical Laboratory Sciences
On Monday, August 18, 2025, the Dean of the College of Pharmacy at the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Yasser Fakhry Mustafa, alongside members of the College Council, received two ministerial committees. The committees were tasked with conducting a field assessment to evaluate the college’s readiness to establish Master of Science (MSc) programs in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Clinical Laboratory Sciences.
The first committee comprised distinguished professors from prestigious Iraqi universities, chaired by Prof. Dr. Firas Fadhil Alwan, with members Asst. Prof. Dr. Noor Hatif Nasir, Asst. Prof. Dr. Massar Basim Mohsen, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohammed Hassan.
The second committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Fallah Hassan Shri, and included Asst. Prof. Dr. Ayhab Mudhar Mikhail, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kadhim Ali Kadhim, and Asst. Prof. Dr. Rwaa Hadi Sharif.
During the visit, the committees conducted an extensive field tour of the college’s laboratories, as well as undergraduate and postgraduate lecture halls. The visit aimed to inspect the available infrastructure and the expertise of the specialized faculty members to ensure all requirements for launching these graduate programs are met, ultimately enhancing the academic and research excellence of both the college and the university.
