The Internal Female Dorms Committee of the College of Pharmacy Conducts an Inspection Tour of the Student Housing Complex During the Blessed Month of Ramadan

As part of the University of Mosul’s College of Pharmacy commitment to overseeing the welfare of its female students residing in internal dormitories, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan, the College’s Internal Female Dorms Committee conducted an inspection tour of the student housing complex. The tour took place on Wednesday, corresponding to March 4th, 2026, under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Yasser Fakhri Mustafa.

The visit aimed to assess the quality of services provided to students during the holy month and ensure the availability of essential amenities that contribute to a suitable living environment. This environment is intended to help students balance their academic requirements with the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan, in addition to following up on the readiness of housing facilities to ensure their comfort and stability.

During the visit, the committee met with a number of students and discussed their primary needs and observations related to service and living aspects. This step reflects the College’s keenness to strengthen direct communication channels with its students and respond to their requirements, thereby contributing to an improved living environment that supports their academic journey.

This tour was coordinated with the Department of Studies and Planning at the University of Mosul’s Presidency / Sustainable Development Unit, as part of the institutional integration among the university’s various formations. It supports efforts aimed at enhancing the level of services provided in the internal dormitories.

This initiative falls within the College’s broader objectives to support the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4 (Quality Education) by providing a conducive learning environment, and Goal 3 (Good Health and Well-being) by attending to the living and psychological well-being of students, especially during critical academic periods.

The committee affirmed its commitment to continuing field visits and following up on raised observations, contributing to the enhanced quality of residential services and the provision of a suitable atmosphere that helps students achieve academic excellence.
