The campaign against violence against women at the College of Political Science, University of Mosul, continues successfully in its second week with the organization of its sixth scientific workshop.

On Monday, 2 December 2024, the sixth workshop discussed topics including “Women and the Trilogy of Peace, Security, and Development,” “Prominent Feminist Models in Combating Violence Against Women,” and “Violence Against Women and Their Protection.” The sessions were led by Dr. Rasha Suhail, Assistant Lecturer Aseel Ghanem, and Assistant Lecturer Ansam Salim, with the workshop moderated by Lecturer Sajeda Farhan Hussein.

The workshop is part of a campaign launched by the Women’s Affairs Committee under the patronage of the University President and the supervision of the Dean of the College. The campaign began on Sunday, 24 November 2024, and will run for sixteen days.
