In line with the Sustainable Development Goals, Goal Four: Quality Education, and Goal Eight: Decent Work and Economic Growth, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning/ Sustainable Development Unit at the University of Mosul Presidency; the President of the University, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, met with the supervisory committee for evening studies on Sunday, 25 January 2026.

The meeting was attended by the Scientific and Administrative Vice Presidents, as well as members of the aforementioned committee, including the Dean of the College of Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Ta’i.
The meeting emphasized the necessity of expanding evening studies through the establishment and activation of diverse academic specializations that meet the needs of students and the labor market, considering evening studies an important contributor and a complement to morning studies in the university’s path toward academic advancement and development. The meeting also discussed enhancing the quality of educational programs to support the university’s pursuit of reputable international academic rankings, thereby developing educational, academic, and service pathways collectively.
