Launching the Peaceful Coexistence Festival by the College Deanship

Assistant Professor Dr. Suhaib Khalid Jassim Al-Taie, Dean of the College of Political Science, accompanied by his Deputies for Scientific and Administrative Affairs and the heads of the college’s two academic branches, inaugurated the Peaceful Coexistence Festival. Organized by the Psychological Counseling and University Guidance Division, the festival was held on the sidelines of the college’s conference titled: “Psychological Counseling and its Role in Promoting the Values of Social Coexistence: Toward Safe and Stable Societies,” which took place at the College of Basic Education Hall on Monday, April 6, 2026.
The festival featured a variety of paintings, handicrafts, and plants expressing the coexistence and harmony among the diverse cultures that constitute the society of Mosul. This local integration, in turn, perfectly encapsulates the broader picture of peaceful coexistence and societal concord across our great Iraqi society.
The significance of this festival aligns with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly Goal 4: Quality Education, Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals.
