Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Dhunoon Al-Taie, Faculty of Political Science, University of Mosul, Publishes a Scientific Research Paper on China’s Strategy toward the Indian Ocean

In pursuit of the fourth Sustainable Development Goal (SDG 4): Quality Education, Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Dhunoon Al-Taie, a faculty member in the Department of International Relations at the Faculty of Political Science, University of Mosul, has published a scientific research paper in the Tikrit Journal of Political Science, issued by the University of Tikrit.
The research examined and analyzed China’s maritime strategy toward the Indian Ocean, considering it a fundamental pillar in China’s rise within the international system, both in its military and economic dimensions. The study also identified the opportunities and constraints associated with China’s strategic engagement in the region.
Furthermore, the research presented a non-traditional analytical perspective by exploring the declared and concealed objectives underlying China’s maritime strategic behavior in the region under study, as well as its geopolitical interconnections.
The Faculty Dean, for its part, congratulated the researcher on his distinguished scientific efforts, wishing him and all faculty members continued excellence and achievement, God willing.
