The Deanery of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Continues Its Efforts to Provide Ongoing Support and Guidance to Its Students Through an Advisory Inspection Tour
The Assistant Professor Dr. Tariq Mohammed Tayeb Dhahir, Dean of the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul, conducted an advisory inspection tour covering the classrooms of all undergraduate levels on Wednesday, 29 January 2025.
The Deanery emphasized the importance of attending lectures on time, respecting class schedules, and adhering to their designated timings. It was also noted that daily study and consistent follow-up on lessons contribute significantly to better understanding of academic materials, especially for students in the second, third, and fourth years, whose grades were notably low in the midterm exams.
As for first-year students, they were advised to begin early preparation immediately, avoid postponement (except in extreme cases), and ensure optimal readiness for the midterm exams scheduled to commence at the beginning of February 2025.
This visit is significant because academic discipline and active engagement in lectures are fundamental elements for students’ academic excellence and success. Adhering to these guidelines ensures optimal academic performance.
Before concluding the visit, the Deanery reaffirmed its commitment to providing continuous support and guidance to students, emphasizing the importance of ongoing communication between students and faculty members to ensure a stimulating and successful learning environment.
The visit was also attended by Professor Dr. Hazem Hamad Mousa, Head of the International Relations Department.
