Two Faculty Members from the College of Political Science at the University of Mosul Participate in a Ministerial Team Conducting an Evaluation Visit to the University of Kirkuk

In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, SDG 4: Quality Education, SDG 16: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and SDG 17: Partnerships for the Goals, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning / Sustainable Development Unit (at the Presidency of the University of Mosul), Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs at the College of Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Muayad Younis, accompanied by Assistant Professor Dr. Khairallah Subhan Al-Jubouri, a faculty member in the Department of Public Policy, conducted an evaluation visit to the College of Law and Political Science at the University of Kirkuk on Sunday, 9 August 2026.

The visit aimed to review the College’s scientific and academic performance, assess the level of its scientific and educational activities, examine its compliance with approved standards and regulations, and identify strengths and areas for improvement, thereby contributing to the advancement of the educational and academic process and enhancing institutional performance quality.

It is worth noting that the aforementioned faculty members are members of the ministerial team assigned to evaluate the scientific and academic performance of Colleges of Political Science at Iraqi universities. The team is tasked with assessing their scientific and academic status, examining the level of implementation of approved academic and educational standards, and following up on requirements for developing academic programs, curricula, and academic work mechanisms, in line with the Ministry’s directions in this regard.
