In pursuit of the Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Goal Four: Quality Education, Goal Eleven: Sustainable Cities and Communities, and Goal Sixteen: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions, and in cooperation with the Department of Studies and Planning/Sustainable Development Unit at the Presidency of the University of Mosul, the Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs of the College of Political Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Younis Muayad Younis, conducted an inspection visit to the dormitories designated for postgraduate students on Wednesday evening, 26 August 2026. He was accompanied during the visit by the Head of the Student Housing Unit, Chief Translator Omar Abdullah Khalil.

The visit aimed to assess firsthand the living conditions and services provided to postgraduate students, identify their needs and requirements, follow up on the level of administrative and residential services provided to them, and ensure the availability of a suitable and safe residential environment that contributes to providing an appropriate atmosphere for academic achievement and scholarly research.
