College of Law at the University of Mosul Conducts Interviews to Select Its Student Team for Participation in the International Commercial Arbitration Competition

The College of Law at the University of Mosul conducted interviews today for the applicants and students wishing to participate in forming the student team representing the college in the eighth International Student Commercial Arbitration Competition. This comes within the college’s commitment to supporting students, developing their legal and research skills, and enhancing their participation in international legal forums and competitions.

The interviews involved evaluating the applicants according to a set of academic and skill-based criteria, in preparation for selecting the team that will represent the College of Law – University of Mosul in the competition. This is in addition to preparing a specialized training program to develop students’ abilities in the fields of commercial arbitration, legal research, and legal pleadings and debates.

The preparatory committee for selection and training consisted of the following members:

  • Prof. Dr. Ayser Essam Dawood

  • Prof. Dr. Saddam Khazal Yahya

  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Mohannad Ibrahim Ali

  • Asst. Prof. Dr. Munhal Abdul Ghani Qalandar

This participation is part of the College of Law at the University of Mosul’s approach toward empowering students academically and professionally, honing their practical skills in the legal field, and strengthening the college’s presence in legal competitions and events at both the local and international levels.
