Doctoral dissertation on solving fuzzy integral equations with homotopy analysis and numerical methods at the College of Computer Science and Mathematics

A doctoral dissertation entitled “Solving a fuzzy system of integral equations by a homotopy analysis method with numerical methods” by Zeina Talal Yassin was discussed at the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul on Thursday, February 6, 2025, part of which was attended by Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Duha Bashir Abdullah, Dean of the College, and Prof. Bassem Mohammed Mahmoud, Dean of the College of Mathematical Sciences at Tikrit University.
The study aimed to develop analytical and numerical methods for solving fuzzy systems of integral equations with a focus on modeling physical phenomena and epidemics with imprecise data.
The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Ali Hassan Nasser Al-Fayyad from Al-Nahrain University, with the membership of Prof. Dr. Omar Saber Qasim, Prof. Dr. Ikhlas Saadallah Ahmed, Assistant Professor Dr. Ilan Jalal Abdul Qader, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Farouk Qasim, and the membership and supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Walid Mohammed Fathi.
