The President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, attended the opening session of the Second International Conference, entitled “The Role of Legislation in Achieving Legal Security,” which kicked off on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.

The conference is held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naim Al-Aboudi, and in cooperation between Nineveh and Al-Nour Universities, represented by the faculties of law at both universities.

The conference included a number of research and discussion sessions that addressed the importance of legal legislation in establishing security and stability, and its role in facing contemporary challenges, in addition to reviewing legislative experiences from different countries and putting forward future visions to enhance the role of law in protecting society and ensuring justice.
