“From Fossil Fuels to Lithium” .. Department of Industrial Management at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Mosul, Discusses the Future of Clean Energy in the Automotive Industry

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Kossay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmady, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Administration and Economics, Professor Dr. Sinan Zuhair Mohammed Jamil, with the follow-up of the Head of the Industrial Management Department, Assistant Professor Dr. Ragheed Ibrahim Ismail, the Department of Industrial Management organized a scientific workshop on Sunday, May 17, 2026, entitled:
“Contemporary Trends in Clean Energy Utilization: From Fossil Fuels to Lithium – The Future of Clean Energy in the Automotive Industry.” The event took place at the Management Information Systems Department Hall No. 2 at 12:30 PM.
The workshop was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Talal Ahmed, covering the most prominent global shifts in the energy sector and the transition from traditional fossil fuels to clean energy solutions powered by lithium batteries. It highlighted the technical, environmental, and economic dimensions of this transformation within the automotive industry.

Enhancing Understanding: Enabling participants to comprehend the future of the energy transition and forecast its implications on modern industries.
Highlighting Opportunities and Challenges: Outlining the opportunities and challenges associated with adopting clean energy technologies in light of global trends toward sustainability and carbon emission reduction.
The workshop was attended by several faculty members, researchers, and students, and featured scientific discussions that underscored the vital importance of keeping pace with modern advancements in energy and sustainable industrial technology.
