College of Agriculture and Forestry

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Qusay Al-Ahmadi, the support of the Dean of the College of Agriculture and Forestry, Assistant Professor Dr. Mohammed Younis Al-Allaf, within the framework of scientific collaboration, communication and sharing knowledge and technical skills with the Agriculture Department of Nineveh. The Agriculture Department of Nineveh hosted Dr. Yousif Yakoub Hilal and Mr. Raqeeb Hummadi Rajab, faculty members in the department of Agricultural Machines and Equipment in our college, and gave a scientific lecture in the Agriculture Department of Nineveh entitled “Technique of spraying crops using drones and controlling them from a distance” which contribute to the development of the agricultural situation and solve some of the problems encountered by the farmers of the agricultural directorate of Nineveh governorate, attended by Dr. Duraid Hekmat Tobya, director of the department, and a large number of employees and heads of agricultural branches. The attendees praised this project, which represents modern technology in the field of the agricultural sector. At the end of the lecture, it was agreed to implement this study between the deanship of the College of Agriculture and Forestry as a representative of the Presidency of the University of Mosul and the Nineveh Agriculture Directorate to serve the agricultural reality in Nineveh Governorate.
