The College of Agriculture and Forestry holds a scientific symposium on the Integrated management of forest fires.
Under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi (President of Mosul University) and the supervision and presence of Prof. Dr. Munir Salem Taha (Asst. President of the University for Scientific Affairs) and Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younis Al-Allaf (Dean of the College), the Department of Forestry Sciences held a workshop entitled “Integrated Management of Forest Fires.” The workshop was attended by General Hussam Khalil Abd (Director of Civil Defense in Nineveh Governorate), several department employees in Nineveh Governorate, the Directorate of Agriculture and Environment, the Mosul Municipality, the Northern Technical University, and a large number of attendees.The workshop syllabus included: Speech of the DeanThe inaugural lecture of the workshop was given by Brigadier General Hossam Khalil Abd (Director of Civil Defense in Nineveh Governorate)First lecture: Assessment of Nineveh forests and developing a management plan to restore itLecturer: Asst.
