Discussion of a Ph.D. Thesis in the Department of Forestry Sciences
A Ph.D. thesis was discussed in the Department of Forestry Sciences/ College of Agriculture and Forestry / University of Mosul for the student (Mahdi Hadi Mohsen) on Monday, 17-October -2022. Thesis title (Geographical Distribution and Spatial Analysis in the Installation of Pine and Oak Trees in Dohuk Governorate). The study is the application of statistical methods and geostatistics, the use of space data based on satellites (Sentinal-2, Land sat-8), and the use of a digital elevation model (DEM)) and geographic information systems (GIS) in determining the physical and spatial geographical distribution of Pine trees in a site of the study.The discussion committee consisted of:
