The Department of Food Science in our college holds a training course.
Today, Sunday, January 28-2024, under the patronage of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Younis Al-Allaf (Dean of the College of Agriculture and Forestry) and the supervision of Prof. Dr. Somaya Khalaf Badawi (Head of the Food Science Department), the Food Science Department held a scientific training course entitled ((Food additives in food processing and their effects health)). The training course will continue until February 1, 2024.
The Dean of the College attended part of the opening of the session today, in which several members of our college and employees of the relevant agricultural and governmental departments participated. During the course, the importance of food additives, their role in food manufacturing, and their effects on human health will be explained, as well as the health sustainability of fats and oils and the importance of antioxidants and medicinal herbs in food manufacturing and food systems.
